This Privacy Policy applies to information that AutoPSM LLC. collects through AutoPSM’s software application and related support (“Services”)
Your privacy is important to us. Please read this Privacy Policy to learn about the information that WE collect from you and how WE use that information. BY USING THE SERVICES YOU CONSENT TO THE COLLECTION, USE AND TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA AS DESCRIBED IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ANY PART OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY, THEN PLEASE DO NOT USE THE SERVICES.
Please be aware that our software application IS HOSTED ON SERVERS IN THE UNITED STATES and information we collect through our application are processed and stored in the United States. If you are located outside of the United States, this may not offer the same level of privacy protection as the country where you reside in or are a citizen of. By using the Services and providing information to us, you consent to the transfer to and processing of the information in the United States.
1. SCOPE
This Privacy Policy describes the information that we collect (directly or indirectly) and why we collect it, what we do with the information we collect and how you can manage your personal information (defined below). You may download a copy of this Privacy Policy here.
If you provide personal information to our platform solutions (suite of products), AutoPSM shall process this information as a data processor on behalf of its Customers. Unless AutoPSM uses some of this information for marketing or business purposes (e.g. metrics), in such case, AutoPSM shall be considered the data controller.
Our application may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Personal information is information that directly or indirectly identifies you. Here are some examples of the personal information we may collect through the Services: Real name, alias, postal address, Internet Protocol address, email address, telephone number or other similar identifiers.
We may link together different types of information or link information to personal information. If linked information directly or indirectly identifies an individual person, we treat the linked information as personal information. In this Privacy Policy, to “process” personal information means to perform any operation on personal information, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organizing, storing, adapting, use, disclosure, combining, erasing or destroying. Where we need to collect personal information by law, or under the terms of the contract between us and you do not provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with products or Services). In this case, we may have to cancel a product or service you have with us but we will notify you if this is the case.
3. HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION
We collect information as follows.
When you register for the Services: When you register for the Services, we may collect basic contact information (such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and company name).
When you contact us: We may ask for contact information such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, contact preferences, and information related to our products and Services. We collect this information so that we may: keep you informed about AutoPSM, respond to your inquiries, and provide you with information about our products and Services.
AutoPSM may also retain the content of and metadata regarding any correspondence you may have with the company or its sales and customer service representatives, regardless of the mode of communication by which such correspondence was made. This information helps AutoPSM to improve its Services and the materials, products and services that we offer on the Services, and to more effectively and efficiently respond to both current and future inquiries.
When you use the Services: AutoPSM processes data entered by our customers and end users when they access and use our Services. This data can often include personal information of our customers, end users or other data subjects (e.g. non-registered 3rds parties that work together with our customers). The personal information may include contact information, such as name, home address, office address, telephone number, and email address. This information is necessary for AutoPSM to provide the functionality built into its software solutions.
From Your Computer, Tablet or Mobile Telephone: We collect information about your computer, tablet or mobile telephone (“Device”), such as model, operating system version, mobile network information, telephone number, internet service provider and similar identifiers. We also may collect IP address and MAC address. These help us identify our user environment to support them better.
Through Server Logs: A server log is a list of the activities that a server performs. AutoPSM’s servers automatically collect and store in server logs your interaction with our software application, Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and referral URL and certain cookies that identify your browser or AutoPSM account
Cookies and Similar Technologies: AutoPSM uses cookies (data stored on your computer or mobile device) for proper functioning of the software. Our Cookies procedure in Section 4 below explains how we use Cookies to collect information about the way you use the Services and how you can control them.
4. HOW WE PROCESS PERSONAL DATA
We will only use your personal information when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal information to identify you and properly record your activity in our software application.
We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. What data we store, we’ll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
We don’t share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except when required to by law.
5. CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
If we change this Privacy Policy, we will post the updated Privacy Policy and its effective date on this page. If AutoPSM makes material changes that reduce your privacy rights, AutoPSM will notify you in advance by sending you an email and/or by posting a notice in the Services.
